1️⃣ Storyboarding

Picture yourself as the director.

Paano mo nakikita yung simula, and how do you want your talk to end? This includes your main idea, your supporting points, and your ending message.

2️⃣ Songwriting

One of the best pieces of advice I got from my mentor was this.

In speaking, para kang kumakanta. You need to keep your audience listening.

Kaya every word counts, especially in our experience, where we get booked for talks as short as 20 minutes.

So it’s crucial that we deliver the message and, more importantly, create an impact on the audience.

3️⃣ Sliding.

Most of the time, people start here, designing the slides.

Yes, this is important because it helps the audience visualize what you’ll be talking about.

But without the first two, even if you have the most creative visuals, it won’t matter.

Don’t impress them with your slides. Inspire them with your message.

Lastly, Showtime!

You’re only as good as how much you practice. Imagine how much it costs to book an international artist like Taylor Swift. Probably millions, right? Pero she’ll only perform for 45 minutes.
