Jel answers the question: What is insureHer all about? 💬

05/09/2026

What if we could talk about insurance without the fear, pressure, or confusion?

That’s the kind of conversation I hope to create with insureHer.

Part 3 is up! 🎥 + bloopers because we’re keeping it real 😆

Part 2: The “why” behind insureHer.

💬 What is it all about?
💬 And why women?

Let’s talk about it. 🎥

If you’re new here, hi! 👋🏻 Here’s a little reintroduction for my less-than-500 followers 🤭 and a peek into the person behind insureHer. 🫶🏼

Small wins I’m so proud of this August 🤍

💖 Consistently posted content the whole month, walang mintis! Except Sundays kasi rest day. 😆

💖 I’m also on my 11th day of consistently reading my Bible. Started with Proverbs and honestly… parang sinesermonan ako every morning. HAHAHA. But in a loving way. 🥰

💖 I also started training for my first 10K for this October, despite being someone who hates cardio and running. 😂

💖 Plus the little habits I started months ago that somehow became part of my lifestyle already — intermittent fasting, turmeric tea na dati ayoko pero ngayon sarap na sarap na ako, and more healthy habits along the way.

Nothing super grand.

Just small things I’ve been choosing to do consistently.

And I think that’s what I’m learning lately:

You don’t have to change your whole life overnight.

Sometimes, you just keep showing up until the things that once felt difficult become part of who you are.

Funny enough, I was telling my boyfriend that I had a story I wanted to write but couldn’t find the right photo for it.

Then he sent me this photo he took at The Cup of Faith ☕️

And I noticed the verse on the umbrella: “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.” — John 7:37

And ganda. 🥺

Because maybe while I’m learning to build better habits, I’m also learning to be more intentional about what I’m filling myself with.

More discipline is good.

More healthy habits are good.

But at the end of the day, what’s the point of becoming better on the outside if I’m still empty on the inside? 🫀

Small wins are worth celebrating.

But being filled by the right things?

That’s the real win. 🤍✨

Maybe the biggest mistake we make with insurance…

is something I realized while preparing for my first 10KM. 👀

And honestly, I didn’t expect the two to be connected. 😂

Watch this.

Ang dami kong nakikitang posts sa Threads asking:

❓“Best life insurance reco?”
❓“Anong magandang insurance?”
❓“Any health insurance for my parents?”

And honestly, I get it.

Minsan mas gusto natin makakuha ng insights o magtanong from people who actually have insurance than from providers or agents.

Pero napapaisip ako.

Sa dami ng products, providers, and opinions sa comments, naiisa-isa kaya ni OP lahat?

Nakakapag-research ba siya nang maayos?

And more importantly, paano niya malalaman kung alin talaga ang fit for her?

Minsan, sa sobrang dami ng information, nauuwi tayo sa analysis paralysis — hanggang sa nade-delay na yung decision.

As a concerned insurance agent, I believe you don’t need to understand everything about insurance to make a good decision.

Start with these 3 questions:

1. Who/What am I protecting?
Income? Family? Kids? Parents? Lifestyle?

2. How much protection do I actually need?
Kasi having insurance and being adequately protected are two different things.

Baka may ₱1M coverage ka, pero ₱3M pala ang financial responsibility mo.

3. What happens financially if something happens to me?
Who pays the bills? Who replaces my income?

Because the goal isn’t to find the “best” insurance.

It’s to find the right protection for the life you’re trying to protect.

And maybe that’s where the conversation should start.

Not just, “Anong best insurance?”

But also, “Ano ba talaga ang kailangan kong protektahan?”

~~
💬 Ikaw, paano ka nagde-decide kung anong insurance plan ang best fit for you?
