Let’s talk about YOLK Color. I’ve had several friends ask about this, and some complain that the yolks’ color is not consistent.

Guess what, THEY AREN’T SUPPOSED TO.

Free ranged hens eat a variety of snack items they find on the field. It differs from hen to hen. Humans cannot control what they eat. Hence, the varied hues of yellow you see in the picture.

If sellers offer a carton with standard colored yolks,most probably it was fed to them in a controlled-environment.
