Hindi rin nagsesend ng calendar invite ang aksidente.

At lalong walang warning ang pagkawala ng breadwinner.

𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗠𝗢 (𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻) = Para sa Checkups at Emergencies
- Usually, covered ang checkups, lab tests, at confinement basta sa accredited hospitals ka pupunta.
- Limitado ang coverage—may maximum limit per year (halimbawa, ₱100k coverage lang).
- Mostly binibigay ng employers (pero pwede rin kumuha nang personal).
- Hindi mo ito pwede ma-encash, diretso sa hospital ang bayad.

Example: May HMO ka na ₱100k coverage, tapos naospital ka at ang bill mo ay ₱150k—ibig sabihin, sagot lang ng HMO ang ₱100k, tapos ikaw na bahala sa kulang.

𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 = Para sa Mas Malaking Gastusin at Long-Term Protection.
- Mas malawak ang coverage—usually pang critical illness benefits (e.g., cancer, heart attack).
- Pwede mo itong ma-encash (halimbawa, may ₱1M critical illness benefit ka, makukuha mo ito in full upon diagnosis).
- Kahit saan ka maospital, covered ka, hindi tulad ng HMO na may partner hospitals lang.
- Ikaw mismo ang kukuha nito, hindi ito automatic gaya ng HMO na binibigay ng employer.

Example: May health insurance ka na may ₱1M coverage for critical illness. Kapag nagka-cancer ka (knock on wood!), bibigyan ka ng ₱1M cash—kahit saan mo gusto gastusin, ikaw ang bahala!

𝗦𝗼, 𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗶𝗻?
✅ Kung may HMO ka na from work, good! Pero tandaan, may limit ito at mawawala kapag nag-resign ka.
✅ Health insurance naman, personal mong pag-aari kahit magpalit ka ng trabaho, hindi ka mawawalan ng protection.
✅ Mas okay kung meron ka both!

HMO = Sagot ang checkups at hospital bills (pero may limit).

Health Insurance = Sagot ang major illnesses at mas malalaking gastusin (kahit saan or paano mo gusto gamitin).
