I don't see the need for hate and negative assumptions towards what happens inside a "meet up."
If you're really just looking for the premiums, simply find someone else who will. Done.
Choice mo naman na hindi makipag-meet up. Always.
The same way it's also the agent's choice if his practice is to do the "meet up" first, before giving you the "price" you're expecting.
In short, kanya-kanyang style 'yan. You just need to find the agent na match sayo.
After all, insurance is a journey. Not a one-time transaction.
These plans typically take up significant years of your life β if not your entire life.
And insurance isn't inherently easy to understand. That's actually why this profession needs to be regulated in the first place.
Because if not done right, it leads to costly mistakes like:
β Paying for a plan that doesn't actually fit you
β A mismatch between what you expected and what you got
β An experience that ends up more inconvenient than helpful
At the end of the day, insurance planning (or what you call a "meet up") exists for a reason.
For many people, it's exactly what they need to finally feel confident making a decision this important.
Not everyone needs that.
But a lot of people do.
