It was 3rd week of June 2023 when my existing client; kababayan and a family friend in Marinduque referred a couple client to get a plan.

After a short discussion they come up to get a plan based on their budget that intended for health protection at a very minimal premium. We processed the application digitally because that time she’s in Marikina and working in a BPO and since digital selling is allowed we do the process online.

She’s healthy at 33. No vices. Didn’t even smoke. With a healthy lifestyle.

It was last week of December 2023; after almost 5 months of the plan. Dahil sa almost a week na ubo. She visited a Doctor in Cebu. Nag transferred na sila nang Cebu with her family and working din sa BPO. She was advice to undergo some tests like untrasound and MRI because there is something visible on her lungs that shows on her Xray Film.

At yun na nga; paglabas nang results. It’s Lymphoma. Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphatic system, which is part of the body's germ-fighting network. The lymphatic system includes the lymph nodes (lymph glands), spleen, thymus gland and bone marrow. Lymphoma can affect all those areas as well as other organs throughout the body.

Who would have thought at a very young age of 33 ay magkakaroon siya nito? Diba wala namang makakapag sabi? Dapat ready ka, Emotionally and Financially because it can drain you😭🥺.

Thanks to Sun Life Philippines for delivering your promised. Thanks for immediate response that even though the plan is still under contestability period; and after prompt response and investigation after complying all the documents and requirements needed for Claims Process.

Her application approved after 3 weeks also deposited (1Million Pesos plus the unused premium, 5,457.60). That amount is a big help for her medication.
