Strict protocol, keen observation, and unwavering commitment to safety are the ultimate safeguards against potential danger. In this special episode of TATAK LINKED, follow the story of Security Officer Jayar Lingon and Security Personnel Jovan Nochepo, whose proactive vigilance led to the interception of an unlicensed firearm at a project site gate.

On August 24, at approximately 7:35 AM, while conducting mandatory site inspections, S.P. Nochepo flagged a worker for search protocol. Assisting in the inspection, S.O. Lingon noticed the worker hesitation to open the third compartment of his zipper bag. Upon feeling a heavy metallic object inside, S.O. Lingon immediately alerted nearby personnel, safely secured the bag, and recovered a .45 caliber pistol without proper documentation or licensing. Prioritizing site safety above all, the team immediately confiscated the firearm, informed the client and contractor, recorded the incident via barangay blotter, and formally turned over the weapon and suspect to local police authorities.

This incident emphasizes that true security relies on thorough, uncompromising procedures and quick, decisive action. For their exemplary alertness and professionalism, S.O. Lingon and S.P. Nochepo were honored with a Certificate of Commendation by the local police force. Gabayan ang mga tao patungo sa fire exit at assembly area nang hindi gumagamit ng elevator, at mag-headcount upang masiguradong walang naiwan sa loob ng gusali.
