To a child, a father is often a source of comfort, strength, and guidance; someone who helps them navigate the world while giving them the confidence to grow and dream. That’s why for many, some of our fondest memories are those shared with our fathers—holding their hand as a child, listening to their stories, or just simply spending time together.

As we look back on our memories with gratitude and appreciation, we are reminded that a father’s influence extends far beyond a single moment—it is written into every chapter of our growth, reflected in the values we carry, habits we adopted, and the experiences we share and remember.

To all fathers and father figures, thank you for helping us write the story of who we are. 💙

Muli nating ginugunita ang tapang, pagkakaisa, at sakripisyong nagbigay ng kalayaan sa ating bayan. Tulad ng liwanag na sumisikat matapos ang mahabang gabi, bumangon ang sambayanang Pilipino mula sa mga taon ng pananakop at pang-aapi. Sa kanilang pakikibaka, nabuksan ang landas tungo sa kalayaang mangarap, magpahayag, lumikha, at sama-samang hubugin ang bansang tinatawag nating tahanan.

Ngayon, hindi lamang natin ipinagdiriwang ang tagumpay ng nakaraan, kundi ang pananagutang kaakibat ng kalayaang ating tinatamasa. Nawa’y magsilbing tanglaw ang diwa ng kasarinlan upang patuloy tayong magkaisa, maglingkod, at magsikap para sa isang mas makatarungan at maunlad na Pilipinas.

Mabuhay ang Pilipinas. Mabuhay ang sambayanang Pilipino. ☀️🕊️🇵🇭

Motherhood isn’t defined solely by a birth certificate; it is defined by the heart.

Today, we honor the women who lead with a maternal spirit in every capacity. To the mothers who first held us, to the aunts who are the second pillars of strength, the mentors who guide us through the dark, and the women who mother the world around them—your influence is immeasurable.

And to the mothers whose arms are empty but whose hearts are forever full of the love they carry for their babies in heaven: we see you, we honor your quiet strength, and we acknowledge the profound love you give every single day.

Happy Mother’s Day to every woman who nurtures, protects, and loves deeply!

𝐍𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐤𝐢𝐢𝐬𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐏 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐬𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐠𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐰𝐚.

Ang araw na ito ay pagkilala sa sipag, dedikasyon, at ambag ng mga manggagawang Pilipino sa pag-unlad ng ating lipunan. Mula sa iba’t ibang larangan at sektor, ang kanilang walang pagod na paglilingkod ang nagsisilbing haligi ng ating bansa.

Sa araw na ito, hindi lamang natin ipinagdiriwang ang kanilang mga kotribusyon, kundi kinikilala rin ang patuloy na laban para sa makatarungang sahod, maayos at disenteng kondisyon sa trabaho, at dignidad ng bawat manggagawa.

Nawa’y magsilbi itong paalala na ang tunay na pag-unlad ay nakabatay sa pagpapahalaga sa karapatan at kapanakan ng bawat isa.

𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧

Nakikiisa ang UP Corps of Sponsors sa buong bansa sa pag-alala at pagbigay-pugay sa ating mga bayani.

Ang Araw ng Kagitingan ay paggunita sa pagbagsak ng Bataan noong Abril 9, 1942 at sa kabayanihan ng mga sundalong Pilipino at Amerikano. Marami sa kanila ang nagtiis sa malupit na Bataan Death March—isang simbolo ng kanilang hindi matitinag na diwa.

Sa araw na ito, binibigyang-pugay natin ang kanilang sakripisyo at katapangan. Nawa’y dalhin natin ang kanilang mga aral sa ating pang-araw-araw na buhay—ang manatiling matatag sa kabila ng anumang pagsubok.

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞, 𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐥, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬.
