IMPORTANCE OF CASH FLOW:
Profit is important. But profit alone doesn’t keep the business running.
You can have strong sales and a healthy profit on paper—and still struggle to pay suppliers, employees, or your bills.
Why? Because profit and cash flow are not the same thing.

As a business owner, don’t just ask:
“How much did we earn?”

Also ask:
“Where is the cash?”
Good financial management means knowing both.

Profit tells you how the business performed.
Cash flow tells you how the business survives.

Doing your part is responsibility. Owning the result is accountability.

They may sound similar, but there’s a big difference.

Responsibility is about what you do.
Accountability is about owning what happens because of it.

In business, both matter. But accountability is what builds trust. 💚

One thing my accounting journey taught me: numbers matter, but understanding them matters even more.

The same goes with investing.

Stocks, funds, bonds, real estate, and other investments all have different risks and purposes.

As accountants, we don’t just work with numbers. We also help people understand what those numbers mean—and make better financial decisions.
