Kneading dough by hand feels more intimate because I can feel it changing under my palms. It starts rough and sticky, then slowly turns smooth and elastic as if it’s responding to my touch.
I like that it keeps me close to the process. Every press, fold, and stretch feels personal, shaping something with my own hands instead of just letting a machine do the work.
