He's the 4th richest person in the world. Financial discipline took him where he is today. He's advocate of using public transportation and living below his means. He held his nokia flip phone for a long time, but purchased an iphone because it was needed.
He also lives in his home which he purchased in 1958. Due to covid 19, some markets are risky but he saw the priority in it so look at picture below. He invested again and took advantage of the market
