Ano ang Danggit?
"Dang-git" is a kind of fish known as rabbitfish aka spinefoot. Mayroong dalawang klase ng danggit (1) Fresh Danggit at ang (2) Dried Danggit. Maliban sa Cebu, kilala rin ang Palawan bilang source ng danggit dahil na rin sa napaka yamang dagat na taglay nito. Isa ito sa mga kilalang pasalubong ng kapag galing palawan.

Ano naman ang Lamayo?
Lamayo ay isang traditional na proseso ng paglilinis, pagdebone at pagmarinate ng fresh danggit. Ito ay hinahaluan ng s**a, asin, bawang at iba pang spices. Hindi nagkakaiba ang processo ng paglalamayo sa pagmamarinate ng bangus.
