SANDWICH GENERATION ✨
This is not your typical family sitcom this is what commonly happen in Families, most parents were using their kids as their retirement fund and/or monthly pension and this is a common thing to most of us. Most people don't settle for their retirement nor save for it and think that when they get older their kids will going to take care of them same as how they took care of their kids which is a mistake most of us aren't aware of.
When your kids enter this world they aren't capable of doing anything and will fully depend on you and as parents it is purely your responsibility to give everything your kid needed in able to survive until they grew older and are capable to live by themselves. However most cases are the parents aren't giving the freedom they should be giving to their child and aren't allowing their kids to leave the household as they will pass the responsibility of paying the bills, expenses and the debts this parents currently have.
This is a chain which is for you to decide either to break or just let happen. You can either start saving for your retirement plan or *sarcastically* use your kids as retirement plan because you know your kid is an asset and should give you a return of investment.
If you really do care for your kids you'll plan ahead not just for their future but also for your future when you get old and aren't capable to work anymore. So how can you do it?
📌 PLAN AHEAD - This is repeatedly said in this post, but do plan ahead plan the next 10 years, 20 or even 30 years if you have to. Most people don't have any plans as how will they live their life when they turn 60s, and most of this people are either struggling or still are working in able to live by.
📌 START SAVING UP - Whether you're just a wage earner or a 6-digit earner it's not the salary that will indicate if you'll able to retire, it's how you save it. You might be earning 100,000 but have a lot of debt to pay or earning 20,000 but can save up to 30% of your income who do you think will retire happily?
📌 TRACK YOUR EXPENSES - If you have pen and paper list down your expenses you pay every month, always record your expenses and see where's your money going. Most people don't track their expenses that's why most of them impulsively spending it.
📌 ALLOCATE BUDGET TO YOUR EXPENSES - If you'll save up for retirement it's better to budget your money in expenses and in what you're currently saving for.
But above all else you should talk to your partner about it and open up their mind to think for your guys' future. Most common reason why couples fight are either because of parents who are demanding for money (can be from both side), expenses that are filing up, and the lack of money or the plan on handling it.
As what we, FA, always say Plan ahead, if you can start, start even if it's just a small amount the important thing is that you'll start saving up for your future. Better to start now or regret not starting at all.
Don't inherit the responsibility or debts you have to your kids they shouldn't be burden nor hindered to continue living for their goals.
Now is the best time to secure your family and income through life insurance and investment plan.

I don't want this to happen to me when I retire,
kaya I started investing in Manulife while being protected/insured when uncertainties strike.
You really dont know what future may bring. Maaring mapagtapos natin sa pag aaral ang mga anak natin, but it does not guarantee that we can depend on them when we get old. May sarili silang buhay at priorities.
As young parents, we can do something to avoid this to happen.. Mag impok, mag invest at magpainsure. Balang araw, magpapasalamat ka na naghanda ka. Tandaan mo yan.

Turn the negative thoughts into positive ideas. If this day isn't going well, remember your whys. Why did you want to do this, why did you want to achieve that goal, why did you choose to be the person you are today. Always strive to be the best version of yourself even if the things around you are not working the way you wanted them to be. Feel the pain and face the fear. You'll get used to those things. Just keep on fighting! Not all days are good. It's a way to remind you that there is balance in this world. Balance that will keep you grounded and thankful of the good things that you might not have noticed.

May sense...😊

At 20 to 30 years old ka dapat productive ka. Yan kasi yung crucial. Bago mag 40 dapat unti unti kana nag babawas ng trabaho para pag dating mo ng 50 to 60 years old nag rerelax ka nalang. Secure kana sa sarili mo kasi nakapag ipon kana. Yung iba pag dating ng 40 years old saka palang sila ng sisimula kaya pinapatay nila sarili nila dahil hinahabol nila yung nawalang panahon.
Kaya yung bata sinasabi lage, YOLO muna tayo bata pa naman tayo eh. Hanggnag magising nalang sila isang araw, " AY ANG TANDA KUNA PALA WALA PA AKO NA IIPON."
"Make a living but don't forget to make Life".

In regards with the recent Travel Seat sale, had a conversation with a client and it goes like this:
Client: actually okay naman yung explanation mo kaso ayoko talaga ng long term commitment, bata and healthy pa naman ako.
Me: I understand.
Me: Ah okay. Ask ko lang noh, pag nagbobook po ba kayo, do you book it 2 weeks in advance, a month or 6 months before?
Client: Hindi, usually a year before pa.
Me: Ganon din po ba sa hotels?
Client: Yes. Usually para mas mura.
Me: I see. Starting your retirement plan now is the same as booking a plane ticket. Pag mas maaga, mas insurable pa kayo and the rates are much lower since lower risk kayo.
Client: Pero yun is 1 year lang naman inadvance, hindi naman katagalan.
Me: Yes maam. Pero your holiday is usually 5 days lang diba? Retirement life lasts long hanggang 20 years. Retirement is the longest holiday of your life. So let me ask you, do you want a business class retirement or economical?
Client: ......
Plane ticket: ......
Retirement: .......

Madami na ako nakakausap na prospects about their ideas when it comes to life insurance.. at karamihan sa akala nila ay mali.
Ikaw, anung akala mo? Tara at bigyan naten ng linaw.
Let's talk. Know more. Guess less.

BAD NEWS : if you resign, your insurance expires.
BAD NEWS : Your coverage is pre-computed and is fixed (based on certain parameters/dividends)
BAD NEWS : Your coverage will most likely not have protection against critical illnesses.
GOOD NEWS : get a VUL, you are covered FOR LIFE against : INCIDENTS, DISABILITIES, CRITICAL ILLNESSES & DAILY HOSPITALIZATION.
BETTER NEWS : You have the liberty to determine how much your coverage would be.
BEST NEWS : IT COMES WITH A LONG TERM INVESTMENT.
The amount youre saving every month will contribute to BOTH your insurance & investment, with growth conservatively projected but not limited to 14% P.A.
Imagine, just by allotting 2.5k (minimum) of your salary every month YOU ARE GIVING YOURSELF A FINANCIAL PEACE OF MIND.
