SEC Update: AFS Deadline Extended to June 15, 2026

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has extended the deadline for the submission of Annual Financial Statements (AFS) and related reports to June 15, 2026 (from May 29).

This follows the extension by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) for the filing of 2025 Income Tax Returns (ITR) until May 15, 2026.

📌 Important Reminder:
AFS must first be stamped “Received” by the BIR before submission to the SEC.

✔ Entities with fiscal year ending December 31, 2025

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has issued Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 030-2026, extending the deadline for the filing and payment of 2025 Annual Income Tax Returns (ITR) from April 15 to May 15, 2026.

This extension provides taxpayers with additional time to complete their compliance requirements accurately and avoid penalties.

• Accept tax payments on March 28, 2026 and April 11, 2026
• Extend banking hours until 5:00 PM from April 1 to April 15, 2026
