Dati, umiiwas talaga ako sa sales. 😅

Akala ko dati, sales is all about 𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙪𝙡𝙞𝙩, 𝙥𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩, 𝙖𝙩 𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 “𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙨𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙖.”

Honestly, it wasn’t something I saw myself doing.

But life has a funny way of changing your perspective.

When I entered this industry, I realized sales isn’t about convincing people to say yes. It’s about 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚, 𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙩, 𝙖𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙙𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚.

And somewhere along the process, I realized…
this wasn’t just teaching me how to sell.

It was teaching me how to communicate better, handle rejection with grace, build confidence, and grow into someone I never thought I could become.

Minsan talaga, hindi skill ang kulang, perspective lang ang kailangang mabago.

What I used to avoid became one of the biggest reasons for my growth. ❤️

Sometimes, the opportunities we resist the most are the ones that change us the most.

Naalala ko dati… 9am to 6pm na trabaho, gigising ng maaga, uuwi ng gabi na pagod na pagod.

Parang umiikot na lang yung buhay ko sa trabaho at biyahe, wala nang oras para sa sarili, sa pamilya, pati sa pahinga.

Akala ko noon, ganun na talaga. Kailangan tanggapin. Kailangan tiisin.

Hanggang sa may isang “𝙩𝙧𝙮 𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜” na decision ako.

Hindi ko alam kung saan ako dadalhin, basta sinubukan ko lang. Walang kasiguraduhan, walang expectation, curiosity lang.

Hindi naging madali. May days na gusto ko na sumuko. May moments na nagduda ako kung tama ba yung pinasok ko.

Pero ngayon… iba na yung perspective ko sa buhay. Mas may space na huminga. Mas may chance na matutong mag-grow, hindi lang mag-survive.

Hindi ko sinasabi na perfect na ako. Pero malayo na sa dati kong pagod na parang nauubos araw-araw.

Kung nasasaktan ka na rin sa routine na paulit-ulit… baka worth it ding magtanong minsan: “𝙃𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙤 𝙣𝙖 𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙖 𝙖𝙠𝙤?”

Grade 3 pa lang ako, nag abroad na si mama para mabigyan kami ng better life.

Growing up, nakita ko talaga yung sacrifices niya, kaya ang nasa isip ko before, kapag gusto mong kumita nang malaki, kailangan talagang lumayo.

But as I explored different opportunities, dun ko na-realize na may iba na palang way ngayon.

Hindi siya easy money, hindi rin instant.

It takes consistency, effort, and willingness to learn.

Nakaka-eye opener lang na possible palang magkaroon ng ganitong setup while staying close to your family. ❤️

Naalala ko before, gustong gusto ko talaga kumuha ng insurance. Sakto, my best friend was already an advisor at Pru Life UK, and she told me, “𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙩𝙧𝙮 𝙟𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙤 𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙬 𝙣𝙖 𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙢𝙤 𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝘼 𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙞 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣?”

At first, I gave it a shot while still working full-time as an accounting staff sa isang realty company, a job I genuinely loved because of the supportive bosses and workmates I had.

For almost a year, pinagsabay ko both careers. It wasn’t always easy, but I chose to give this opportunity a real chance.

Then eventually, I made the leap and went full-time.

Looking back, I’m grateful I did.

What makes this journey even more meaningful is knowing that while I’m growing personally and professionally, I’m also able to help people secure their future and protect what matters most to them.
