Sometimes, its tempting to sort of impose our "authority" over our kids. But, we must always remember that they have emotional and mental needs that definitely need to be nutured making them fully equipped to face the bigger world outside our homes. What we say and make them feel matter A LOT.

They say "it takes a village to raise a child."
While it may seem that this is to help nurture a child, I think it is actually a call to help and care for the Mommies too.
Parenting/ Motherhood is such a huge responsibility. Day in, day out, choices must be made and these will always have an effect on the little ones' future - from toddler feeding strategies to big school choices, from hobby and talent-honing activities to family vacations, from identifying family goals to work on first to adjusting plans when needed. The list goes on.
As the journey may be daunting for most, may us Moms readily extend our helping hands to each other.
While I may not have been a Mom for much too long, I have seen and learned several things along the way (with the help of my 2 preschoolers).
