Siya yung paniguradong andyan para sa yo or your family and loved ones when uncertainties strike in ๐
What we are buying is PEACE OF MIND, long term solutions and managing the risks that we all have which can be due to illness, disability, dismemberment or death and even CASH/FUND VALUE accumulated over time in case we OUTLIVED these various RISKS.
Year 2016 early 1st quarter when the Executive got his first policy, its a P500,000 SUN MAXILINK PRIME ๐ Itโs a Life insurance policy linked to unit shares of investments, Policyholder tried to have his 1st insurance policy , anyway it has FUND VALUE one of the major reason Client got it ~ the flexibility and access to the funds in case he would need it in time of emergency โ๏ธ
We didnโt expected low and behold since the executive was very healthy and at the prime of his career early 40โs that I would received a call from him only after a year of his 1st policy anniversary. I set a meeting right away with him to listen to his anxieties and know options we have since his policy was under โcontestability periodโ - 2 years ๐ He was diagnosed with the โBIG Cโ stage 2 and need to undergo procedures to prevent spread. The question right away from him was โHow can he sustain paying premium?โ and in case the inevitable happen, โWhat can he get from his Sun Maxilink Prime policy?.โ

After carefully assessing situation, policy features and benefits, we had identify the โFLEXIBILITYโ features of VUL. Advisor was really not that close to the Client and it was actually a โBY CHANCEโ meeting only . This was when I fully realized and appreciated the โVALUEโ of what we where selling and our โMISSIONโ. In Clientโs darkest hour, relationship deepened becoming his Confidante of his fears, hopes and what he would like to happen in preparation in case treatments was not successful.๐
โTOTAL DISABILITY BENEFIT-WAIVER OF PREMIUMโ
Upon submission of his clinical abstract and patientโs health condition classified under permanent disability year 2018. Advisor attended seeking approvals of his disablement, since ruling to be considered for โDISABILITY BENEFITโ under the Guidelines is that occurence must be more than 6 months to qualify. During that time Executive was on his 4th month only permanent separation from work .
This was when I proved that Sun Life is really a company with a BIG HEART, after continuous requests and appeals of the Advisor for special approvals and reconsiderations, since Client has huge medical bills and no more work-income to sustain even the monthly cost of benefits . His request for โWaiver of Premium- Total Disability Benefitโ got approved ! ๐
This was what transpired applying features of his VUL til his actual Death Claim ๐

Year 2016-2017 - P3,565 x 9 months HULUGAN monthly payment mode (to sustain his insurance benefits) while undergoing Chemo procedures and treatments. Client was heavily experiencing cost of treatments with the hope that everything will be alright.

This was when Executive got separated from work due to permanent disability losing his job. His illness worsen and jumped to another serious complications to stage 4, this was the time that I would often visit him either at home or in the hospital to check on him ๐.

Met the Executiveโs Family coming from the province - Monday to file Claim and deposited check to their account the following Monday for comfort and convenience since they are based in the province ๐ข Advisor just instructed the loved ones to open a BPI Account, signed all the documents and wait for further updates, indeed a BRIGHTER LIFE ๐

You heard that right. Isang taon lang siya nagbayad. 2016 unang nagbayad si client at pagkatapos nun ay si Sunlife na ang nagbayad para sa dalawang taon na premium (pambayad ng insurance). How? Nakakabit sa insurance ni client ang rider na tinatawag na โTotal Disability Benefit (TDB).โ Since nagfile at na-approved si client noon for total disability due to Stage 3 cancer, yun na rin yung ginamit bilang bayad sa premiums niya. Imagine, around 80K ang ibinayad ni Sunlife para maituloy ni client ang insurance policy niya. May butal pa. Dahil ang 58,000 sa 1 million na death claim niya ay galing din sa TDB. Imaginine mo, ikaw yung insured pero yung insurance company ang nagbabayad para sa yo ๐๐ป

Minsan mas maigsi pa sa seven days ang aabutin. Bottomline, dadating si insurance kapag kailangan mo siya. Ang maganda pa dun ay dahil sa VUL, minimal monthly fees lang ang binabayadan niya dahil flexible si VUL. Kasi hanggaโt mayroong fund value ang policy mo, covered ka pa rin kahit minimal monthly fees lang ang bayadan mo. Imaginine mo na hindi pa full amount binabayadan mo pero buo pa rin ibibigay sayo yung claims. Amazing, isnโt it?
Advisor deposited the check to beneficiaries account based province, waited for 3 hours from bank to have it deposited due to some Bankโs Clearing Guidelines when the amount is more than P1M, meron pala ruling โ
โYan ang pangako ni insurance. Thatโs the Sunlife promise. Buo mo man bayadan o kahit hindi ka consistent sa payments, guaranteed na tutuparin niya yung parte niya. Those are only some of good things that a VUL insurance policy. Hindi pa nababanggit yung iba kagaya investment portion niya.
Again, hindi mo mahahawakan ang insurance pero pagdating sa mga panahon na kailangan mo siya, paniguradong maasahan mo siya para alalayan ka with the help and assistance of your dedicated Advisor ๐ซ๐
