โ€˜SOBRANG ADVANCE AKO MAG-ISIPโ€™

LOOK: Actress-entrepreneur Neri Naig opens a bank account for her son, Cash, and gets him a life insurance.

She advises fellow parents, โ€œWag na wag natin iisipin na kesyo pinag aral natin sila ay sila na ang bahala sa atin sa pagtanda.โ€ | ๐Ÿ“ท: Naig/Instagram

Kakeibo which is pronounced as โ€œkah-keh-bohโ€ is a way of manually tracking your finances to help you stick to a budget and reach your savings goals.

Here's how you can save you more money.

Let the old habit end. ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป
โŽ Income - Expenses = Savings
โœ… Income - Needs - Savings = Expenses
Income: (How much money is coming in?)
Expenses: (How much money is going out?)
Net Income: (How much available?)
Savings: (How much do I want to save?)
Wants: (How much should I spend?)

If you are starting, spend at most 80% of your income and save at least 20% to the point that you can no longer spend the 80%. If you can only spend 65%, then save 35% of it.

The goal of personal finance is to make you save at least 50% of your income. ๐Ÿ“‘๐Ÿ–‹

Happy learning!

Four reasons why planning for Retirement is very important.

1. SSS and Philhealth is not enough - it will not sustain your medical bills and you will need to downgrade your lifestyle if you will depend on your SSS pension alone.

2. Inflation - your P100 now will have a lesser value in the future.

3. Our kids are not our retirement fund - part of "Pagtanaw ng utang na loob" Culture. We need to break this dependency. Let us not be a burden to our kids in the future.

4. We live longer - imagine retiring at the age of 65 with NO INCOME, then living until the age of 80, that's 15years worth of expenses. 65 years old is too far to imagine, right? How about taking a vacation for a year with no salary?

In essence, we all need to prepare for our future. It's important to enjoy the present but it's equally important to save and invest for our future too. It starts with Financial Education.

Total financial solution :)

You have to choose between the two.
Invest now and enjoy later or Enjoy now and suffer later.

Hey boys, nanliligaw kana ba? Ipon muna bago ligaw! ๐Ÿ˜ Parang awa mo na, wag mong ligawan yung crush mo kung wala kapang ipon para sa kasal at pambili ng bahay.

Never forget that whatever you do today will either make your future self suffer or be thankful for it. So, you better think wisely. Make your future self proud. O baka mamroblema si future self about your multiple utang, or your unreasonable expenses today.
