About Gorospe Financial Advisory
Gorospe Financial Advisory is built on two complementary skill sets — one rooted in financial advisory leadership, the other in project delivery and human-behavior expertise — united under a shared mission to grow both a client base and a team worth building a career in. Queenie Gorospe, CUSP, CLSSYB is a Unit Manager and Licensed Financial Advisor at Sun Life Phi
lippines, with 6+ years building and leading a financial advisory unit — backed by 11+ years of total professional experience spanning financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and standard cost analysis across the logistics, network marketing, and construction industries. She has qualified for Sun Life's International Quality Award at the Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels through GAMA Global — reaching Platinum for the third consecutive time in 2025 — a track record built on sustained client retention, portfolio growth, and needs-based financial planning across life insurance, disability insurance, education, and retirement products. As Unit Manager, she has recruited, coached, and developed her advisory team from the ground up, holds Associate Wealth Planner certifications, and is a graduate of the University of San Carlos with a degree in Management Accounting. Outside of work, Queenie's focus stays close to home — raising their son, keeping the household running, and unwinding with a scroll through TikTok in her downtime. Savi Gorospe, MBA, PMP is a Senior Project Manager at 77GSI, currently delivering enterprise-scale and regulatory-critical initiatives for BDO Unibank, with 8+ years managing enterprise transformation projects across BFSI, HCM SaaS, Pharmaceuticals, and Aviation — backed by 11 years of total professional experience. His portfolio includes 200+ initiatives generating over $1M in measurable business value, among them a 3-week regulatory crisis deployment that prevented 10–12% monthly revenue loss across 15,000+ accounts with zero rollbacks. He holds PMP, CAPM, CLSSYB, and RPm (Registered Psychometrician) certifications, and completed his MBA at San Beda College Alabang in 2026. His Psychometrician license and volunteer track record — including membership recruitment for Generations Business Resource Group and facilitating workshops on persuasion, influence, and micro-expression science under Paul Ekman Group methodology — bring a distinct, behavior-informed edge to identifying and developing the right people for a career in financial advisory. Savi approaches both delivery and recruitment through a Stoic lens — prioritizing deliberate action and treating time, energy, and attention as the scarcest resources worth protecting. Outside of work, he's a Certified Conversational Hypnotherapist and NLP Practitioner offering mental clarity sessions, and spends downtime with self-help/philosophy reading, video games, and weekend rides on his Honda PCX 160. Together, Queenie's track record in client growth and retention and Savi's expertise in structured delivery and people assessment give GFA a team built to grow on both sides — advisors joining a real career path, and clients working with advisors who were chosen for the role, not just recruited into it.

🇵🇭 WHEN FOREIGN MONEY LEAVES, THE PSEi FEELS THE PRESSURE
Year-to-date, foreign investors in the Philippine Stock Exchange were net sellers by US$529.5 million. When foreign investors sell more than they buy, money flows out of local equities. With foreign participation playing an important role in market trading, sustained selling can add pressure and make it harder for the PSEi to move higher.
If a VUL portfolio is heavily tied to Philippine equities, its fund value will naturally be affected by the performance of the local market. This is why diversification into global fund options matters.
Instead of relying solely on one market, give clients access to opportunities beyond the Philippines where there are markets with different economies, industries, companies and growth drivers.

🌎 GLOBAL MARKETS ARE MOVING. IS YOUR VUL POSITIONED FOR THE OPPORTUNITY?
Major global markets continue to post double-digit returns, even over just 1 year. Meanwhile, the Philippines remains at the bottom, with negative returns across 1, 3, 5, and 10-year periods.
This is an important conversation to have with clients: their VUL fund selection matters.
💻 Nasdaq 100 exposure?
➡️ Global Tech Funds
🌎 Worldwide exposure through ACWI?
➡️ Global Growth Fund
⚖️ A more balanced, medium-risk approach?
➡️ Global Opportunity Fund, with a mix of global bonds and stocks.
All three fund options are available in both PHP and USD.
And most importantly, remind your clients that regardless of the fund value, the guaranteed insurance coverage of their VUL remains intact. The fund value may move with the markets but the protection purpose of the VUL remains.
Don't just talk about fund performance. Talk about positioning, diversification, and protection. 🌎🛡️

Thankful for this opportunity to join the 45th Macaulay awarding ceremony with the achievement of a Bronze Level category.
Being part of the Macaulay Club represents the Top 3% of the Total Sun Life Advisors in the Philippine.
This ceremony is the crème de la crème awarding of Sun Life that happens every September.
I’m aiming to achieve a Gold Level next year!
Thank you for the trust!
After all, we are in the job of protecting dreams.

Another milestone unlocked! Learning never stops!
I'm grateful to share with everyone, especially to my clients, that I have officially become a Certified UITF Sales Person (CUSP) of Sun Life Investment Management and Trust Corporation (SLIMTC).
This achievement represents another step in expanding how I can serve my clients, not only by protecting what they have built, but also in helping them understand investment opportunities and make more informed decisions toward their long-term financial goals.
More than earning another certification, this is a commitment to continuously learn, raise the standard of advice I provide, and become a more capable partner to the people who place their trust in me.
Thank you to Sun Life Investment Management and Trust Corporation, TOAP, and everyone who supported me throughout the journey. It's not an easy task balancing work with studying for this exam.
Aside from being able to offer VUL/TRAD, Life Insurance, and Health Insurance which are protection focused, I can now offer investment opportunities in the form of Unit Investment Trust Fund (UITF) similar to how you would partake in a Mutual Fund.
And you don’t necessarily need a large amount to get started. Certain investment options can begin from as low as ₱5,000.
One important distinction: UITFs are regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), while mutual funds are regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
I’m genuinely excited to start sharing these opportunities with everyone on my friends list. Please expect a message from me in the coming days. 😊
No pressure and no obligation, just an honest opportunity to learn what options may be available to you.
Here’s to protecting, growing, and building toward a brighter financial future! ☀️
