The BIR has issued 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙪𝙚 𝙈𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙢 𝘾𝙞𝙧𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙉𝙤. 𝟎𝟖𝟗-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, extending certain tax filing, payment, and submission deadlines from 𝘼𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝟏𝟎–𝟏𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝙩𝙤 𝘼𝙐𝙂𝙐𝙎𝙏 𝟏𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 for taxpayers under the affected Revenue District Offices.

This includes affected areas in Metro Manila, Cavite, Batangas, Rizal, Mindoro, and several other provinces listed in the Circular.

So if you have a tax deadline this week, don’t panic. But don’t use the extension as a reason to procrastinate either.

If you can file today, file today.

If you’re covered by the extension, use the extra time to double-check your books, documents, payments, and filings.

Ayon sa Bureau of Internal Revenue Philippines (RMC No. 030-2026), ang filing at payment ng 2025 Annual Income Tax Return (AITR) kasama ang required attachments ay officially moved:

🗓️ From April 15, 2026 ➡️ May 15, 2026

✔️ More time to file
✔️ More time to pay
✔️ No penalties within the extended deadline

This gives taxpayers a breather to properly comply—so take advantage of this extension wisely 💼
