Starting January 2025, the Social Security System (SSS) will increase its contribution rate to 15% from 14% and adjust the minimum and maximum Monthly Salary Credit (MSC) to P5,000 and P35,000, respectively.

This is the final tranche under the Social Security Act of 2018, ensuring the fund’s viability until 2053.

SSS President Robert Joseph M. De Claro emphasized 2025 priorities: service excellence, universal coverage, and improved investment performance.
