The University of Luzon Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (UL JPIA) participated in the FLAMES (Financial Literacy Through Accounting, Management & Economics for Sustainability) Seminar, where members explored the topics "Role of BSP in the Economy" and "Know Your Money."

The seminar gave us a better understanding of how the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas helps maintain the country's economy and taught us how to recognize genuine Philippine banknotes through their security features.

A day filled with new insights, practical knowledge, and another step toward becoming competent and responsible future accountants.

Our College of Accountancy students got to take part in BSP Dagupan Branch's Public Information Campaign, held for their 33rd Anniversary.

The sessions "The Role of BSP in the Philippine Economy" and "Know Your Money" gave students a closer look at how BSP keeps the country's financial system running, plus some interesting details on Philippine currency and its security features.

It's one thing to learn this stuff in class, it's another to hear it straight from BSP itself.

Thank you to BSP Dagupan Branch for having us and for the warm welcome. Happy 33rd Anniversary! πŸŽ‰

Our freshmen and transferees had their Departmental and Career Orientation, and it was packed with good info.

Guidance Services, Health Services, Security, Ancillary Services, Student Affairs, and Extension Services all dropped by to share what's available to our new students, the people and support they can lean on as they settle in.

We also had PICPA Pangasinan Hour with Career Orientation, giving students a real glimpse of where this degree can take them, from government work to public practice.

More than just an orientation, it was a first look at the journey ahead, the support available, the opportunities waiting, and the many paths an Accountancy student can take.
