Behind every number is a story, behind every calculation is a mind learning to reason, and behind every balance is a future professional learning to make decisions that matter.
On ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ฎ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ, students from every year level gathered with the BSA faculty for the ๐๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ผ๐๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ ๐ข๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒโa gathering of shared experiences, aspirations, and one common pursuit: moving forward as one Accountancy community.
The program opened with a message from JPIA-UNP Adviser ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ถ๐บ, ๐๐ฃ๐, ๐ ๐๐, followed by messages from ๐๐ฟ. ๐ฅ๐ผ๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐ผ ๐. ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ผ, ๐ฉ๐ฃ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐บ๐ถ๐ฐ ๐๐ณ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ฟ๐, and ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ป ๐ง. ๐ง๐ผ๐น๐ฏ๐ฒ, ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ป ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐๐๐, setting the tone for a year of purpose, preparation, and growth.
With ๐๐๐๐. ๐๐ผ๐ ๐๐๐น๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐ฎ ๐จ๐ด๐ฎ๐น๐ฒ-๐ฃ๐๐ฟ๐๐ด๐ด๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐ป, ๐๐ฃ๐, ๐ ๐๐ leading the Accountancy Program, the orientation also marked new beginnings through the presentation of the ๐๐ฃ๐๐โ๐จ๐ก๐ฃ ๐ข๐ฟ๐ด๐ฎ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ฟ๐, induction of the ๐๐ฃ๐๐โ๐จ๐ก๐ฃ ๐ข๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ and ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ด๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ผ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ, and presentation of the organizationโs accomplishments and ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฃ๐น๐ฎ๐ป ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป.
And then, the numbers took a little break.
The much-awaited intermission performances brought every section to the spotlight, showcasing the creativity, energy, and talent that exist beyond the classroom. For a while, formulas and financial statements could waitโthe stage belonged to the students.
As the orientation came to a close, ๐๐น๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐๐ฒ๐น๐ฎ delivered the closing remarks, bringing together the messages and moments that filled the day.
But perhaps the most important part of an orientation is not knowing exactly what lies ahead.
It is knowing that whatever comes next, we will not be facing it as numbers on a page.
We are the minds behind the figures. The voices behind the ideas. The people behind the organization. And with every lesson, every challenge, and every moment we create together, we continue shaping more than our academic journeyโwe shape the professionals we hope to become.
