On June 29, 2007, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) formally approved the registration of the P150 Million-capitalized CARITAS FINANCIAL PLANS as a dealer of securities in the form of pre-need plans. After the supervision and regulation of all pre-need companies have been transferred to the Insurance Commission (IC) as an effect of the 2010 Pre-Need Code of the Philippines (RA 9829), CARITAS FINANCIAL PLANS was issued by the new regulator its initial Certificate of Registration and license to Act as a Pre-need Company dated April 26, 2010. Now with more the P800 Million in total trust funds and a paid-up capital of P250 Million, CARITAS FINANCIAL PLANS, INC. reaches out to clients and stakeholders with its present 22 Branch Offices and a network of over 89 Caritas Health Shield branches nationwide.
