❤️ Saving Lives Doesn't End on National CPR Day. It Continues Every Day. ❤️
The spirit of National CPR Month goes beyond a single celebration. Sharing lifesaving knowledge is a continuous commitment because emergencies can happen anytime, anywhere, and to anyone.
On July 18, 2026, the Philippine Red Cross Cebu Chapter conducted a CPR Orientation and Demonstration at Jagobiao National High School, Mandaue City, empowering students and teachers with essential lifesaving skills and the confidence to respond during emergencies.
Every person trained in CPR is another potential lifesaver in the community. Together, let us continue building a generation that is Always First, Always Ready, Always There.

Crossing Islands, Saving Lives: From Negros Oriental to Cebu City with the Philippine Red Cross Cebu Chapter
When a critical patient needs to be transferred across islands for specialized medical care, time, distance and logistics are not the only challenges - peace of mind is what matters most.
The journey from Negros Oriental to the advance medical facilities of Cebu City requires more than just a vehicle; it demands a seamless, mobile intensive care unit capable of navigating land and sea transitions without compromising patient safety.
At the Philippine Red Cross, we believe that medical emergencies should never be limited by geography. By uniting cutting-edge medical technology, elite clinical skills and our core foundation of humanitarian compassion, the Philippine Red Cross guarantees every patient a seamless, dignified, and safe transport to the medical facility they need—whenever and wherever they need us.
Because every second counts, and every life is worth saving.

We're just gettung started on
𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙤𝙥𝙚, 𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚!
Despite strong winds and heavy rain as early as 4:00 AM, the determination of our volunteers never wavered. As the skies cleared and the sun finally emerged, our tree planting activity in Sitio Siocon, Barangay Sapangdaku successfully pushed through.
With the dedication of 60 volunteers and staff, we planted 500 tree seedlings, a meaningful step toward protecting our environment and building safer, stronger, and more resilient communities.
This activity is part of our celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month, reminding us that resilience is not only built through preparedness and response but also through caring for the environment. Every seedling planted today represents hope for a greener tomorrow, helping reduce the risks of soil erosion, flooding, and the impacts of climate change.
And this is only the beginning. Our tree planting efforts will continue throughout the observance of National Disaster Resilience Month as we bring this initiative to more communities. Every tree planted is an investment in a safer future, and every volunteer who joins us helps strengthen the resilience of our communities.
To our volunteers, partners, and supporters, thank you for braving the weather and proving that even after the storm, hope continues to grow. Together, let's keep planting, keep protecting our environment, and keep building a more resilient Philippines: one tree, one volunteer, one community, and one act of service at a time.

Public Advisory from PRC Chairman Richard J. Gordon on Super Typhoon Inday (BAVI) and Enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat)
To my fellow Filipinos,
We are once again facing a powerful force of nature. Super Typhoon Inday (BAVI) is expected to bring destructive winds, heavy to intense rainfall, flooding, landslides, storm surges, and other life-threatening hazards. Combined with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), this weather system may significantly affect many communities across the country.
I urge every Filipino to prepare now. Do not wait until conditions worsen before taking action. Monitor official advisories from PAGASA and your local government, prepare your emergency go bags, strengthen and secure your homes, secure fishing boats, and evacuate immediately if advised by authorities. If you live in high-risk areas, prioritize the safety of your family and livestock.
The Philippine Red Cross has placed our chapters, RC143 volunteers, emergency response teams, and rescue assets on heightened alert to respond wherever help is needed.
I also ask every Filipino to look out for one another, especially children, older persons, persons with disabilities, and those living alone.
I pray for your safety and protection. May the Almighty watch over you and keep you from all danger.
