Having more money is not the answer to a happy life. It may seem that money can solve it all and if you just had a better job or a bigger wallet, you’d have a better life. However, joy is not found in the size of our bank accounts, but the size of our hearts.

In the bible, Psalm 37 says the wicked borrows but does not pay back, but the righteous is generous and gives.

The key to living in freedom is realizing it’s not all about you. God is the only one with the power to provide and you are responsible not for gaining something bigger or better but managing well what you’ve been given already. The best way to start following God with your finances is to follow His example and start living a generous life.

Financial literacy took a bright leap forward under former President Fidel V. Ramos.

He signed Proclamation 1059 declaring the first week of October of every year as “Life Insurance Consciousness Week.” The document highlighted “services and benefits for financial protection” and how “the life insurance industry is a major contributor to the social and economic development” of the country.

As a formative political figure, President Ramos was also instrumental in Sun Life’s decision to stay and thrive in the Philippines. He was the one who reminded the company to believe in the Filipino spirit – a mutual exchange of trust that created a lifetime partnership spanning renewal, reinventions, and revolutions.

Thank you for sharing your light to Sun Life, the life insurance industry, and financial security for Filipino families. Rest in peace, FVR.

I am 22 years old and I am insured.

Why?
Some people probably might think that I don’t need insurance yet since I am still young and healthy.

But why did i get my own insurance?

For PROTECTION and PEACE OF MIND. I want to make sure that i won’t be a burden to my family if something unfortunate happens to me. I may be young and healthy now, but I know i won’t always be young and healthy as I am right now.

If you are in your 20s or 30s and you do not have dependents yet, insurance is still worth having because “When it comes to buying life insurance, your age and health are two of the most important factors an insurer will consider when determining eligibility and pricing. As you can imagine, THE YOUNGER AND HEALTHIER YOU ARE, THE MORE AFFORDABLE A POLICY WILL BE.”

One of the things I like about insurance is YOU CAN CUSTOMIZE YOUR OWN POLICY depending on your budget, goals, health status, etc.

We insure our car, homes, phones, etc. Why not ourselves?

DON’T WAIT BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE.

Do not just think that insurance is a preparation for death. Instead, think about all the benefits it can give you and your family.
