"Suspension of Audit Activities"
The XU-CSG Commission on Audit announces the suspension of all audit activities effective September 7, 2026, in observance of the Preliminary Examination period.
This memorandum provides the Commissionโs auditors with the opportunity to prioritize their academic responsibilities and focus on their examinations during the suspension period. Audit activities shall resume after the examination period, with the date of resumption to be communicated accordingly.

Following the completion of the Basic Orientation and Leadership Training Seminar (BOLTS) 2026, the XU CSG Commission on Audit is pleased to announce the official COAssignments of its newly accepted auditors to their respective Offices and Audit Teams for Academic Year 2026โ2027.
The assignments formally place each auditor within their respective teams and offices, where they will carry out designated responsibilities and contribute to the Commissionโs audit and administrative functions throughout the academic year.
As the new term begins, we look forward to the active participation and commitment of all auditors in fulfilling the Commissionโs mandate of transparency, accountability, and responsible governance.

"Commencement of Audit Activities for A.Y. 2026โ2027"
The XU-CSG Commission on Audit officially announces the commencement of its audit activities for Academic Year 2026โ2027, following the completion of the Commissionโs Basic Orientation and Leadership Training Seminar (BOLTS) 2026 and the oath-taking of its auditors.
This memorandum formally marks the beginning of the Commissionโs audit operations effective August 18, 2026, as the Commission continues its commitment to accountability, transparency, and service.

The XU CSG Commission on Audit concluded its Basic Orientation and Leadership Training Seminar (BOLTS) 2026 on August 15, 2026, at STC 601.
Day 2 focused on strengthening the participantsโ understanding of audit procedures through assessments, discussions, and interactive engagements. Auditors and their respective Audit Team Leaders participated in focused discussions that clarified audit processes, roles, and responsibilities. A session on the Legal Basis of COA Internal Regulations further equipped members with a deeper understanding of the policies and standards governing the Commission.
The seminar concluded with the Oath-Taking Ceremony, where members formally affirmed their commitment to accountability, integrity, and ethical service, followed by the awarding of certificates in recognition of their successful completion of the training.

The second and concluding session of the Basic Orientation and Leadership Training Seminar (BOLTS) 2026 is set to take place on August 15, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at STC 601.
Day 2 will focus on reinforcing membersโ understanding of the Commission through assessments, discussions on the legal basis and mandate of the Commission on Audit, and the Oath-Taking Ceremony.
As we conclude this yearโs BOLTS, the session aims to strengthen our membersโ readiness to carry out their responsibilities while upholding transparency, accountability, integrity, and excellence in service.
We look forward to seeing everyone as we close this training with a renewed commitment to our work and the Commissionโs shared mission.

The Commission on Audit commenced its annual Basic Orientation and Leadership Training Seminar (BOLTS) 2026 on August 12, 2026, at AVR 3 (8:00 - 12:00 PM) and AVR 8 (1:00 PM - 5:00 PM), opening the first day with welcome remarks from COA Chief Commissioner Raihana Marohombsar.
Day 1 featured technical discussions on key audit procedures, including the Audit of Liquidation Reports, Invoices and Disbursement Vouchers, Acknowledgement Letters and Receipts, Inflow Reports, Documentation Reports, Justification Letters and Disallowances, Meal Attendance, Transportation Report and Notice of Postponement, and CPU Memorandum. Interactive activities were also conducted throughout the sessions to encourage participation and strengthen team engagement.
The day concluded with the presentation of the assessment guidelines, providing members with a clear understanding of the expectations and standards that will guide them throughout the training and their service in the Commission.
