Good news for Micro Taxpayers! The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), through Revenue Regulations No. 004-2026, has introduced a one-time abatement program that allows qualified micro taxpayers to settle outstanding tax liabilities with reduced penalties and interest, providing an opportunity to achieve tax compliance and start with a clean slate. Eligible taxpayers are generally those with annual gross sales of less than ₱3 million.
