📢 CLIENT ADVISORY: AFS DEADLINE EXTENDED❗️

Please be advised that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has officially extended the filing deadlines for the 2025 Annual Financial Statements (AFS) and related reportorial requirements.

This extension is aligned with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 30-2026, which moved the Annual Income Tax Returns (AITR) deadline to May 15, 2026.

🔹 AFS (All Corporations): June 15, 2026
🔹 SEC Forms 52-AR & 17-A: May 15, 2026

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), through Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 030-2026 issued on April 14, 2026, has officially extended the deadline for the filing of the 2025 Annual Income Tax Returns (AITR) and payment of the corresponding taxes due.

📅 New Deadline: May 15, 2026
📅 Previous Deadline: April 15, 2026

This extension also covers the submission of all required attachments.

‼️ UPDATE: RESUMPTION OF ALL BIR TAX AUDITS AND FIELD OPERATIONS ‼️

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has issued Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 008-2026, providing for the resumption of all tax audits and field operations, pursuant to the guidelines under Revenue Memorandum Order (RMO) No. 1-2026.

These issuances take effect on January 27, 2026.

‼️ UPDATE: DE MINIMIS THRESHOLD ‼️

The BIR has issued Revenue Regulations (RR) No. 29-2025, further amending the "De Minimis" benefits provisions of RR No. 2-98, as amended, and increasing the ceiling of non-taxable benefits.
The regulation was circulated on December 22, 2025.
