Nais po naming ipaalala ang wage payment rules para sa mga papasok nating ka-TRABAHO bukas.

KALIGTASAN MUNA SA PANAHON NG MASAMANG PANAHON

Sa panahon ng bagyo, malakas na pag-ulan at iba pang weather disturbances, maaaring suspindihin ng mga employer sa pribadong sektor ang trabaho upang mapangalagaan ang kaligtasan at kalusugan ng kanilang mga manggagawa.

Narito ang mga patakaran sa bayad:

🔹 Hindi nagtrabaho – Walang regular na sahod, maliban kung may mas paborableng company policy, practice, CBA, o paggamit ng accrued leave credits.
🔹 Nagtrabaho nang 6 oras o higit pa – Karapat-dapat sa buong regular pay.
🔹 Nagtrabaho nang mas mababa sa 6 oras – Proporsyonal na bayad batay sa aktuwal na oras ng trabaho.

Mahalaga: Ang manggagawang hindi pumasok o tumangging magtrabaho dahil sa napipintong panganib dulot ng masamang panahon o katulad na pangyayari ay hindi dapat patawan ng administrative sanction.

Para sa karagdagang impormasyon, basahin ang Labor Advisory No. 14, Series of 2026 – Suspension of Work in the Private Sector by Reason of Weather Disturbances and Similar Occurrences.

Unahin ang kaligtasan. Maging alerto, manatiling ligtas, at sumunod sa mga opisyal na abiso.

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) advises all concerned taxpayers, revenue officials, and employees currently using the eBIRForms Offline Package to download and install the latest version, eBIRForms Offline Package Version 7.9.6.0 or 7.9.6.1.

Older versions of the eBIRForms Offline Package will be discontinued and will no longer be supported.

Taxpayers are encouraged to update at the earliest opportunity and carefully follow the procedures in the accompanying User Manual, particularly those covering the backup and restoration of previously saved tax returns and related data.

📢 𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘 | 𝐄𝐗𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐀𝐗 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒

Due the unavailability of eBIRForms Offline Package due to technical issues and in reference to Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 089-2026, the BIR has granted an extension of selected tax filing, payment, and submission deadlines for the following taxpayers:

1. Taxpayers identified in RMC No. 089-2026
2. Taxpayers affected by the unavailability of eBIRForms Offline Package

The extension covers specified filing, payment, remittance, and submission requirements originally due from August 10 to 16, 2026, including applicable withholding tax returns, income tax returns, ONETT transactions, and other obligations enumerated in the Circular.

Authorized Agent Banks (AABs) thru Bank Bulletin No. 2026-10 are to accept covered tax returns and payments until August 18, 2026, without the corresponding penalties, from both taxpayers covered by the Habagat-related extension and those affected by the unavailability of the eBIRForms Offline Package.

Taxpayers mandated to use the Electronic Filing and Payment System (eFPS) who are not covered by RMC No. 89-2026 are not included in the extension and must continue to use eFPS to file their returns and pay taxes due.
