Please be informed that the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has issued Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 089-2026, extending certain tax-related deadlines due to the continued heavy rainfall brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

🚨 BIR Update: RMC No. 84-2026
The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has issued Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 84-2026, which clarifies certain provisions of Revenue Regulations (RR) No. 004-2026 on the One-Time Abatement of Taxes and/or Penalties for Micro Taxpayers.

‼️Some important reminders:
✅ Only Micro Taxpayers are eligible.
✅ Applications must be filed with the appropriate Revenue District Office (RDO).
✅ A one-time abatement fee of ₱5,000 is required per application.
✅ Submit complete documentary requirements with the application.
✅ The deadline to avail is December 31, 2026 (unless extended by the Department of Finance).
