Did you know New Zealanders are twice as likely to insure their car than their own life? 🚗
Research from the Financial Services Council has uncovered a striking disconnect: we're quick to protect our possessions, but far less likely to protect our health, our income, and our lives - the things that matter most.
The reality is, your car can be replaced. Your income, your health, your family's financial security - that's a different story.
If you've been putting off reviewing your insurance, now's a great time to have that conversation. Our advisers can work with you to make sure you've got the right cover in place when you need it.

💰 August is Money Month – time to check in on your KiwiSaver!
Money Month is here, and it’s all about building your financial resilience. While this year’s theme is emergency savings, it’s also a great reminder to check whether your KiwiSaver plan still works for your goals – especially with the latest changes now in effect.
✅ Government contributions reduced – make sure you’re still on track to get the maximum top-up if you’re eligible.
✅ Younger members included – 16 and 17 year olds can now benefit from KiwiSaver.
✅ Contribution rates increasing – plan ahead so you’re ready for the rise in 2026 and 2028.
💡 Tip: Even small, consistent contributions – whether to your KiwiSaver or an emergency savings fund – can have a big impact over time.

Right amount of cover: Ensure you're not paying for more than you need or left without enough coverage.
Stay within budget: Make sure your insurance aligns with your current financial situation.
Claimable events: Check for any claimable events you might have overlooked.
A regular review allows you to refresh your memory of what and how much you're covered for, and identify any changes you might need to make now or in the future.

Self-employed? Think KiwiSaver isn't for you? Gimmie a shout and I'll show why it's a great idea!
Attention part-time and casual staff in New Zealand! 📢
Have you checked your KiwiSaver contributions for this year? As the KiwiSaver year concludes on 30 June, it's crucial to ensure you've contributed enough to qualify for the government's contribution. For every dollar you save, the government will chip in 50 cents, up to a maximum of $521.43 per KiwiSaver year.
Unsure if you've met the threshold? Here’s how you can find out:
🪴Log in to your KiwiSaver provider's app or contact them directly to review your contributions.
🪴Remember, you have until Sunday, 30 June to add funds, but they must be processed in your KiwiSaver account by then, so don't delay!
Note: If you joined KiwiSaver for the first time or turned 18 or 65 during the year the government contribution will be prorated. To be eligible for the government contribution, you must be 18 years of age or older, not yet be entitled to withdraw your KiwiSaver for retirement and live mainly in New Zealand.
