❗ Important information about your Cost of Living Payment

If you’re eligible and your 2022 tax assessment is complete, then you’ll receive your payment today (or tomorrow if you bank with a credit union). A reminder we’re staggering them, so you may not receive it at the same time as others, even if you use the same bank.

Please make sure we have the correct bank account for you. Here’s how to update your bank account details:
1. Log in or register for a secure myIR account at ird.govt.nz
2. Update your bank account details in your income tax account by following the instructions at ird.govt.nz/update-bank-account

If you cannot register for myIR, please call 0800 473 777 to update your bank account.
