Online services including myIR will not be available while they complete a system update.

Our online services will not be available on Saturday 12 September from 1pm to approximately 10.30pm, while we complete a system update.

Services affected include myIR, SPK2IR, and submitting info via software providers.

If you have saved web requests for tax account registration, these will be deleted during the update. All other saved drafts and web requests in myIR will not be affected.

You can use our website and make payments through your bank during this outage.

GST returns and payments are due Friday 28 August. If you file and pay monthly or two-monthly, this one's for you. Get your return in and pay by the 28th to steer clear of interest and penalties.

If payment is going to be a stretch, let us know as soon as you can. We can set up an arrangement with IRD and keep the penalties down if we get in early.
