This morning I had the pleasure of attending the Tradie Breakfast organised by the Pukekohe Business Association.

It was fantastic to connect with hardworking local business owners who are out there every day building, fixing, creating and keeping our community moving.

At Tommy & Co, we strongly believe that real business success is built on strong local relationships. When local businesses support each other, the whole community grows stronger.

sometimes it’s simply about being present, listening, sharing knowledge and offering advice where we can.

Pre-Year End Team Building ✅

Before the year-end rush kicks in, we pressed pause this afternoon and stepped out of the office for some quality team time.

Lunch, drinks, a few laughs… and a friendly competition at the driving range.

At Tommy & Co, we know strong systems and great client outcomes start with a connected, energised team. Taking time to reset, build relationships, and have a bit of fun together helps us show up better for our clients and for each other.

Grateful for a hardworking team that continues to grow, support one another, and strive for excellence — both in the office and at the driving range.

Now… back to finishing the year strong 💪

Xmas ham for the team! They have worked so hard and totally deserved a well earned break coming up. Our office is closed from 24/12 to 14/1. Wishing everyone a safe and peaceful Xmas and new year holidays.

Over the weekend, our team came together for our annual Christmas function at the Pukekohe Cup.

A great day out, plenty of laughs, and a chance to appreciate the people who make our firm what it is.

As we head into the final stretch of 2025, it’s clear that the business environment remains challenging.

But we’re also starting to see encouraging signs of recovery, slower inflation, improving business sentiment, and more enquiries across several sectors.

For us at Tommy & Co, the message is simple:

Finish the year strong.
Carry out as much work as possible before Christmas.

And bill promptly to keep cashflow strong going into the shutdown period. something that’s more important this year than ever.

Smashing goals at Tommy and Co!!

The team set up their October 25 goal at the beginning of the month. It was a high bar and challenge of their time and focus is constant. Massive GST month, new clients and tax jobs. It was not an easy goal and they worked hard toward it the entire month.

Fast forward to the end of the month..

They smashed it!

And we are going to celebrate with a team lunch.

Spring is here and so is celebration time at Tommy & Co!

Today, we took a few hours out of the office to enjoy the arrival of spring together as a team. These moments are about more than just a break, they’re about connection, gratitude and recognising the amazing people who make up our firm.

A special congratulations to Hayley, who received our Monthly Values Award for truly living and breathing our H.E.A.R.T. values and to Krish who has officially passed his first CA papers! A massive achievement on the journey of professional excellence.

We’re proud of the culture we’re building at Tommy & Co, one where success is shared, milestones are celebrated and people come first.
