Introducing our star administrator, Katherine McDonnell.

Katherine joined the Rural Business Accountants team in December 2025 and came with 30 years' experience in a variety of administration fields.

Often the unsung hero of the office, but always smiling, Katherine enjoys the challenges of a busy practice and values meeting our clients and assisting them with their needs.

When not at work she enjoys shows (especially musicals!), loves her garden & overseas travel adventures.

Thank you to everyone who visited our site at the Methven A&P Show on Saturday, it was another great community event and well supported!

The winner of the model tractor prize in our word-search competition was George Waddell, pictured here. A big congratulations to George, we have never seen anybody so stoked to claim their prize 😃

We are ‘Friends of SIDE’ this year and encourage share milkers, contract milkers and farm managers to attend. Register now for this mid-April event in Lincoln 😎

Lucky local girl, Lucy, was the winner of the model tractor in our word search competition at the Mayfield Show held over the weekend.

🎉 Tomorrow Mayfield comes alive! The 100th Mayfield A&P Show is ready to put on a spectacular day for the whole community.

After 100 years of rural tradition, the Mayfield A&P Centennial Show is finally here and tomorrow the showgrounds will be buzzing with animals, action, competitions, food, and plenty of good country fun! 🌾🐑

🚒 FENZ live car cutting rescue demonstration at 11:30am – an amazing chance to see firefighters in action
🐄 goats, sheep and the mighty Clydesdales
🐖 World Famous in Mayfield Pig Racing – always a crowd favourite!
🚜 Vintage machinery displays alongside modern rural equipment
💪 Tractor Pull – raw horsepower and serious bragging rights
🥕 Produce competitions in the produce shed – including the Fodder Beet Competition
🧶 Wool display celebrating one of our region’s great rural industries
🛍 Trade & craft stalls throughout the grounds
🐕 The always entertaining Pet Section (now by the sheep pens!)

From the thunder of hooves in the equestrian arena, to the buzz of the shearing board, the laughter at the pig races and the roar of tractors in the pull — it’s a day that truly celebrates our rural community.
