Udhyami Bhetghat - Education was held on 12th Feb 2014 (29th Magh 2070) at Wunjala Moskva Restaurant, Naxal, Kathmandu. This sector-focused networking event was organized by Udhyami Impact Fund. The main sponsor (Agni Sponsor) of the event was Biruwa Ventures Pvt. Ltd. and the supporting sponsors (Wayu Sponsors) were Thames International College and Kings College. The Featured Guests and Experts of the event included Dr. Bidhya Nath Koirala, Mrs. Shanta Dixit, Mr. Jyoti Tandukar and Mr. Kailash Badu. The 60 participants were from diverse education sector value chain such as curriculum developers, content writers, commercial schools and colleges, non-profit organizations focused on education to marginalized populations, trainers, workshop/seminar companies, IT education companies and many more. Agro-based projects can from now onwards obtain loans based on the project viability without the backing of any collateral. The central bank has asked financial institutions to provide loans of up to Rs one million for projects such as agriculture business activities like coffee, orange, tea, livestock and dairy products.
