The overall objective of the INSTITUTE is to create a platform for constructive discussion and examination of current and trends in portfolio management, which in turn would contribute to the growth, and development of our great nation Nigeria. Established as an independent, non political, the institute is governed by a Governing council. Board and recognizing that Portfolio Management is a mult-disciplinary field, we closely with other specialist institutes and association across the world and seek to represent an increasingly broad and diverse set of stakeholders. The membership is drawn from industry, commerce, consultancy, public sectors and government services. In addition to setting professional standards, the Institute provides opportunities for short-time training. It activities are organized in such way as to avoid long absence from work.
