Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) extends deadline for filing individual annual tax returns by two (2) weeks. The new deadline is 14 April 2026.

Lagos State IRS extends the filing deadline for 2025 tax returns by one week. The payroll tax return will be filed by an employer on behalf of employees in Lagos state.

It's payroll week. Not just the regular week but one filled with joyful moments. Most employees expect lower taxes and higher net pay with the introduction of the new tax law.
