Requirements

●Able to commit 2 hours each day to the internship

●Available from 1st of August 2022 to late August 2022– flexible start and end dates

●Strong communication, organization and strategic thinking skills

●Hardworking, detail-oriented, efficient and creative

Interns working on this project will:

●Research, identify, and compile potential grants that fit with Projects goals

●Work with the Executive Director to write and edit grant applications

●Actively participate in Director and team meetings to learn about current projects and contribute suggestions and ideas to accomplish team goals

●Time Commitment: 2 hours daily

●Compensation: Volunteer

The late 20th century was a period of major social, economic and political changes. It was also a time in which there were big changes in knowledge – in how people see knowledge and how they use it.

This period is now widely known as the beginning of the Knowledge Age – to distinguish it from the Industrial Age.

Post-Industrial – or Knowledge – Age (21st century) people also need ‘know what’ kinds of knowledge. However they need more than this.

They need to be able to do things with this knowledge, to use it to create new knowledge. The ‘know-what’ kind of knowledge is still important, but not as an end in itself.
