It is estimated that less than 2,500 Malayan Tapirs remain in the wild.

In conjunction with World Tapir Day, SD Guthrie formed a strategic partnership with PERHILITAN to strengthen conservation efforts for one of Malaysia’s most iconic endangered wildlife species. 🌱

Together with Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and Copenhagen Zoo, Guthrie also ran a one-day programme that brought together conservationists, students, communities, and industry players through leadership discussions, workshops, and awareness activities focused on protecting Malaysia’s biodiversity. 🌏

Protecting wildlife takes more than one organisation, it takes collective action. And we’re proud to work with PERHILITAN to make that happen! 🤝
