118 floors. 2,845 steps. One very determined climb. 🏃‍♀️

From “this should be easy” to counting down every single floor, The Sky Race at Menara Merdeka Maybank definitely tested the grit of our Head of Investor Relations, Lim Su San. 💪

But somewhere between the burning legs, tired lungs and “how many more floors?!” moments, there was one thing that kept her going: knowing the finish line was waiting at Level 118.

And when she finally got there? Worth every step. We’re proud of Su San carrying Guthrie’s flag to the top, overcoming all hardships to get there. 🏙️✨

A challenge conquered, a view to remember, and a story we’ll definitely be talking about for a while.

Every year, we proudly take part in the Merdeka Parade, and this year was no different! 🇲🇾

On 31 August, 47 SD Guthrie colleagues took part in the Merdeka Parade 2026 at Dataran Putrajaya, representing SD Guthrie Tower, Upstream Malaysia, SD Guthrie International, and Innovation & Technology.

Alongside 42 agencies and companies and 1,859 participants, our colleagues came together to celebrate Malaysia’s 69th Independence Day, bringing plenty of pride, unity and Guthrie spirit along the way. ❤️🌱

A big thank you to our colleagues for representing Guthrie with such enthusiasm and making this annual tradition one to look forward to every year.

Turning bright ideas into real-world learning 🌱🔬

From 22 to 23 August 2026, four winning teams of the SD Guthrie Young Innovators Challenge 2026 took part in an educational learning experience designed to bring STEM beyond the classroom. The Challenge, an initiative under Beyond Sekolah Angkat MADANI, invited students from 16 schools to develop STEM posters showcasing Guthrie’s innovations and their applications in plantation operations.

The students visited our Carey Island operations through the Know Your Palm Oil Programme and explored Petrosains, The Discovery Centre, gaining valuable exposure to plantation operations and real-world STEM applications.

We hope this experience inspires them to stay curious and become tomorrow’s innovators! ✨
