In the first half of 2026, Vietnam led ASEAN economic expansion, recording 7.8% GDP growth in Q1 and accelerating to 8.4% in Q2. Malaysia and Singapore also picked up strong momentum, rising to 6.0% and 5.9% in Q2 respectively.

Meanwhile, Indonesia maintained steady performance, shifting slightly from 5.6% in Q1 to 5.3% in Q2. In contrast, the Philippines and Thailand saw growth cool down to 2.3% and 1.9%, demonstrating a multi-speed economic recovery across the region.
