我不会让我孩子做的3件事。
即使我在金融行业打滚那么多年

第一，为钱，去做讨厌的工作。
因为一次为钱低头，一辈子都要低头。

第二，买名牌，去证明自己有钱。
有钱人买东西，穷人买标签。

第三，存钱在银行，觉得安全。
银行安全，但你抵抗不了通膨。

我教他买选择，不是买东西。
因为选择，才是富有。

3 Things I Will Never Let My Children Do.

Even after spending so many years in the financial industry.

1. Work in a job they hate just for money.
Because once you bow to money, you may spend your whole life doing so.

2. Buy luxury brands just to look rich.
Rich people buy value. Poor people buy labels.

3. Keep all their money in the bank and think it’s safe.
Banks may be safe, but your money still loses value to inflation.

I teach my children to buy choices, not things.

Because true wealth is having choices in life.

18年了，我又回到了新加坡国立大学National University of Singapore这里。

校园全变了。
新的楼，新的路。

但有些回忆，好像从来没离开过。

What does “Harmony in Humanity” really mean?

To me, it’s not about grand speeches or big gestures.

As Lions Club KL Host President, I believe harmony starts somewhere much closer to us.

It starts at home.

When a family is well planned,
when parents feel secure about the future,
when there is less financial uncertainty and more peace of mind—

there is peace at home.

And when there is peace at home,
it creates harmony in the community.
Harmony in society.
And ultimately, harmony in the nation.

That belief is also why I chose this industry 17 years ago.

From RM161 million to RM1.33 billion today.

But the numbers were never the real purpose.

Because financial planning isn’t simply about growing money.

It’s about protecting the people we love, preparing for what lies ahead, and giving families greater peace of mind.

And perhaps that’s where harmony truly begins—

今天在老人院，我问了5个老人同一个问题。

有人说：想请家人吃一顿饭。
有人说：想帮隔壁床的阿嬷买个收音机。
有人说：想回家。

没有一个人说想要钱。

我才发现，年轻的我们想要能力，是为了想要更多。
年老的他们想要能力，是为了给出去更多。

能力不是让你拥有更多，
能力是让你能给更多。

所以，当你有能力的时候，你会做什么？

A. 让家人过得更好
B. 帮助更多需要的人
C. 完成自己没完成的梦

我去老人院，被一个阿嬷问了一句话，我愣了很久。
她说：年轻人，你多久没陪你妈妈吃饭了？

我才发现，我们拼命赚钱说要给家人更好的生活，
但我们连坐下来听他们说说话的时间都没有。

有时候，你以为的孝顺是给钱，
但他们要的，只是你陪他吃一顿饭。
