Recently, many people have been talking about the SKBBK 24-Hour Protection Scheme,and some are starting to wonder:“Is there another deduction from my salary?” 😵‍💫

Simply put,this is not a new tax.It is a 24-hour accident protection scheme borne by employees, with the company helping to deduct and contribute on behalf of employees 🛡️

From working hours to daily life,as long as it is an accident, it may fall under the protection coverage.

Of course, it is normal for people to discuss this.After all, employees will definitely feel it when there is another monthly deduction 💭
But the key point is:this 0.75% of salary is exchanged for 24-hour accident protection.

【June 2026 Month-End Must-Know Updates】

There are several important updates in June that are relevant to employers, HR, Accounts and Admin teams. Since we are approaching month-end, here’s a quick reminder for everyone：
✅ SOCSO 24-hour protection plan to be implemented
✅ Jeep and Pickup Trucks used for goods transportation can also apply for diesel subsidy
✅ New generation MyKad to be introduced
✅ New international passport updates
✅ Common report submission deadlines in June

It is advisable to check and prepare in advance to avoid rushing at the last minute.

⚠️HRDC新规定7大重点，15/6/2026起生效！

这次更新后，HRD Grant 申请不能再 Last Minute 处理了。

老板、HR 和 Admin 要特别注意：
✅ 培训前至少 14天必须获得 Grant Approval
✅ Grant 批准后，培训必须在 14–90天内开始
✅ 每个申请只接受 1次 Query
✅ 补件必须在 5天内回复
✅ 批准后的 Grant 不能再修改
✅ Appeal 不再被考虑
✅ Verification 审核范围扩大

简单来说，以后申请 HRD Grant，时间要抓得更准，资料也要一次准备完整。

如果你的公司有安排 6月15日之后的培训，记得提前规划，避免影响 Approval 和 Claim。

⚠️ HRD Corp Grant New Rules Effective from 15/6/2026!

With this latest update, HRD Grant applications can no longer be handled at the last minute.

Employers, HR and Admin teams should take note:
✅ Grant Approval must be obtained at least 14 days before the training date
✅ Training must commence within 14–90 days after Grant Approval
✅ Each application will only be allowed 1 query
✅ Any additional documents must be submitted within 5 days
✅ Approved grants can no longer be modified
✅ Appeals will no longer be considered
✅ The scope of verification will be expanded

In short, companies will need to plan their HRD Grant applications more carefully and ensure all documents are prepared accurately from the start.

If your company has training scheduled after 15 June 2026, remember to plan ahead to avoid affecting your Grant Approval and Claim.
