Who do you need to pay income tax ?
Basically, individuals who earn more than RM34,000 per annum after EPF deductions are required to register a tax file. This figure does not only encompass your monthly salary, but also all other types of income, including earnings from your business or profession, employment, dividends, interest, discounts, rent, royalties, premiums, pensions, annuities, and others.
God bless our country.

There Are Common Things Malaysians Don’t Realise Are Waste of Money. 🧐
1. Paying High-Interest Rates
2. Annual Credit Card Fees
3. Buying Consumables in Small Packages Rather Than Buying In Bulks
4. Last Minute Travel Insurance Compared With Annual Insurance
5. Over Loading Up On Supplements Which There Are Already Processed In Your Body
6 Paying for Cable TV Packages Rather Than Bundle TV Package Because It Gives Them More Value In Money.
7 Expensive/Luxury/Over-ordered For Food and Beverage Which It Is Already Overpriced Compared To Consumption. (Like Tun M said eat moderate).
In the end, I hope that the cost of all of the items mentioned above will eventually add value in your pocket.
Thanks.
