The "Million Dollar Morning Routine," popularized by Mel Robbins, emphasizes starting the day with purpose and clarity, often including early rising, exercise, mindfulness, and goal-setting, to optimize focus and productivity.
Here's a breakdown of the key elements often associated with this type of routine:
Early Rising:
Waking up before the rest of the world allows for a dedicated time for self-care, planning, and focused work.
Exercise:
Physical activity, even a short workout, can boost energy levels and improve mental clarity.
Mindfulness and Meditation:
Practicing mindfulness or meditation can help quiet the mind and set a positive tone for the day.
Goal Setting:
Clearly defining goals for the day can provide focus and motivation.
Hydration:
Drinking water first thing in the morning can help rehydrate the body and improve energy levels.
Gratitude:
Expressing gratitude for what you have can foster a positive mindset.
Learning and Reading:
Dedicate time to learning or reading to expand knowledge and stimulate the mind.
Healthy Breakfast:
Fueling the body with a nutritious breakfast can provide sustained energy throughout the morning.
Avoiding Distractions:
Minimize distractions, such as social media, to maintain focus and productivity.
Making the Bed:
Mel Robbins suggests making the bed as a simple act to create a sense of accomplishment and set the stage for a productive day.
High-Fiving Yourself in the Mirror:
Mel Robbins suggests this as a way to reinforce positive self-talk and motivation.

💡 12 Truths from Therapy That May Just Change Your Life
01 - Feelings aren’t facts.
Emotions are valid, but they aren’t always accurate reflections of reality. You can feel unworthy and still be incredibly valuable.
02 - You don’t have to earn rest.
Rest is a human need, not a reward. You deserve to take breaks just to exist.
03 - You are not responsible for other people’s emotions.
You can be kind and empathetic, but you are not in control of how others feel or react.
04 - Boundaries are a form of self-respect.
Saying “no” doesn’t make you mean or selfish. It makes you honest and whole.
05 - Avoidance doesn’t make problems go away.
It just delays the discomfort and often makes it worse. Facing things is hard—but healing starts there.
06 - You can hold two truths at once.
For example, “I love them” and “This relationship is not healthy for me” can both be true.
07 - Your coping mechanisms were survival tools.
Even the ones that hurt you now once helped you stay safe. Honor them—and then outgrow them.
08 - Self-awareness isn’t enough.
Knowing why you do something is a good start—but change requires action, not just insight.
09 - You can reparent yourself.
If your needs weren’t met growing up, you can now give yourself the care, validation, and love you needed then.
10 - Progress isn’t linear.
Healing comes in waves—good days, setbacks, and breakthroughs. It’s not about perfection; it’s about direction.
11 - It’s okay to outgrow people.
Not everyone is meant to stay in your life forever. Growth sometimes means letting go.
12 - You’re allowed to change your mind.
About your goals, your beliefs, your boundaries—even your entire life path. Changing is human.

“Never blame anyone in your life. Good people give you happiness. Bad people give you experience. Worst people give you a lesson. And the best people give you memories.”
