⚠LINDUNG 24 Hours Scheme is Now Voluntary for Local Employees⚠

It is no longer compulsory for local employees. Instead, participation is voluntary, and the contributions are fully borne by the employees.
However, it remains mandatory for foreign workers in accordance with existing legal provisions.

Employers shall pay contributions on behalf of employees for as long as the employee remains employed with them.

🚨 PERKESO LINDUNG 24 Jam Effective 1 June 2026
Contribution payment starts on 15 July 2026. Employers are advised to ensure compliance to avoid penalties.

📢 PERKESO LINDUNG 24 Jam

📌 Will employers be given a grace period for the LINDUNG 24 Jam Scheme contributions?

PERKESO will provide employers with a six (6) month grace period after the LINDUNG 24 Jam Scheme comes into effect.

During this grace period, employers will be exempted from any penalties or legal action related to non-compliance with the LINDUNG 24 Jam Scheme contributions.

However, other non-compliance under the existing legal provisions will still apply.

📢 PERKESO LINDUNG 24 Jam

📌What if an employee has more than one employer?

For employees with more than one employer, the employee must choose one employer to make contributions for the LINDUNG 24 Jam Scheme, through a method to be announced by PERKESO.

However, if the employee does not make a selection, PERKESO will implement an automatic mechanism to determine which employer will make the contribution deduction for the LINDUNG 24 Jam Scheme based on the prescribed criteria.
