In every group, there's that one person everyone picks on. Not because they're bad, but because they're everyone's favorite. Atimose ŵakum'manyinji. We've got one too. And we cut the umbilical cord of Regina Patrick Awawa kunena zoti we're breaking their theatric virginity tidzinyenga chabe.

Regina is studying HIV/AIDS Management under a scholarship at Mubarak College. Jwelejo akwete machili. She has already done tremendous work back home in Mangochi with youth groups. Kumachinga kwakwe, wandu akum'manyinji.

While other people are scared to even say the word "HIV," Regina is out here writing skits, acting her lungs out, and making sure her peers in Mangochi get the message and actually remember it. Iko ni chitukuko. No boring lectures. No judgment. Ngakumtendela mundu lyolyoti. Just real talk, wrapped in entertainment.

She's basically a health worker in an actor's body. With better stage presence. Katsuna ka Chiyao. Wajingwa ntonde.

Dili mubweni tsikana. She has picked up the script, mbali jimpepe mbali jineji, and she's saving lives, une a Regina. Ngwetu jwalakwejo. She's not waiting to graduate to make a difference. Ngakulindila m'putu. She's already on stage, doing the work. Ali pa sitaji, akukola machili.

Regina Patrick. Student. Actress. Advocate. Mangochi's own. Jwakupambana. And honestly? She's just getting started. Ali ching'aning'ani.
