We are proud to share that our Co-Founder and Lead Partner, Anne-Valery Kathelyn Modeste-Jacob , has officially earned the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential, awarded by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) — the world’s leading organisation in anti-fraud education and certification.

The CFE designation is internationally recognised as the gold standard in fraud prevention, detection, and investigation. It is awarded to professionals who have demonstrated integrity, hold prior professional and academic qualifications, have prior professional experience and passed a rigorous exam administered by the ACFE.

Valery joins the ranks of business and government professionals worldwide who have investigated millions of suspected cases of civil and criminal fraud.

She distinguished herself with brilliant results underscoring her commitment to excellence and her mastery of the field. Building on her credentials as a Certified Internal Auditor with a Degree in Accounting & Finance, and nearly 20 years of international experience in audit, accounting, and advisory, this milestone reflects both her personal dedication and our firm’s shared values of ethics, trust, and professionalism.

Yesterday our team joined the NouBiznes Meet-up by Cim Finance, diving into how AI is reshaping the SME landscape — beyond the hype.

The theme, "Unlocking AI Potential: Insights, Tools and Best Practices for SMEs," hit close to home. It’s easy to get overwhelmed by big tech trends, but this session was all about making AI accessible and actionable for businesses like ours. Visual examples, honest conversations, and practical tools we can actually apply.

Kudos to the Cim Finance team for curating a space where innovation meets reality. Lots to think about — and even more to build on.
