Dr. Daoud Sobh has published a Facts & Concepts (F&C) guidance in Issue 49 of the Crowe Levant Newsletter, addressing “Audit Evidence: Quality and Quantity in Practice (ISA 500).”

The guidance highlights the importance of obtaining sufficient appropriate audit evidence, explaining the balance between the quantity and quality of evidence, the factors affecting sufficiency and appropriateness, and the role of professional judgment in supporting reliable audit conclusions and audit quality.

The guidance outlines the application of dual dating, the auditor’s available options, and clarifies how audit responsibility may be appropriately limited or extended when significant subsequent events arise after the original audit report date, offering a practical, standards-compliant perspective that supports audit quality, efficiency and sound professional judgment.

يتناول الدكتور داود يوسف صبح ضمن سلسلة “حقائق ومفاهيم” في العدد 48 من نشرة كرو ليفانت، موضوع “التأريخ المزدوج في تقارير التدقيق وفقًا للمعيار الدولي للتدقيق ISA 560 المتعلق بالأحداث اللاحقة".

ويستعرض في الارشادات حالات تطبيق التأريخ المزدوج، والخيارات المتاحة أمام المدقق، وكيفية تحديد أو تقييد نطاق مسؤولية التدقيق بشكل مهني عند حدوث أحداث لاحقة جوهرية بعد التاريخ الأصلي لتقرير التدقيق ، وذلك من منظور عملي متوافق مع المعايير الدولية ويعزز جودة التدقيق والكفاءة المهنية، وسلامة الحكم المهني.

Dr. Daoud Sobh has developed and recently updated the PFCR Audit Continuous Improvement Cycle, a practical audit framework presented in the Facts & Concepts section of Issue 47 of the Crowe Levant Newsletter.
The PFCR model (Planning, Fieldwork, Completion, Reporting) positions audit quality as a central driver and supports continuous improvement in alignment with ISA and ISQM standards.

ابتكرَ الدكتور داود يوسف صبح، وحَدَّثَ مؤخرًا إطار PFCR لدورة التحسين المستمر للتدقيق، وهو نموذج عملي للتدقيق نُشر ضمن قسم الحقائق والمفاهيم في العدد 47 من النشرة الإخبارية لكرو ليفانت.
ويعرض إطار PFCR (التخطيط، العمل الميداني، الإنجاز، التقرير) التدقيق كمنهجية قائمة على الجودة والتحسين المستمر، ومتوافقة مع معايير ISA و ISQM.
